CosmosWorks 2007 for SolidWorks 2008
CosmosWorks is a special calculating module for solving static strength and stiffness problems in linear and non-linear statements, finding eigenfrequences, optimization details and assemblies forms in linear statement, fatigue analysis and constructions behavior under strike conditions.
During processing the model is divided into a big amount of little elements. They’re called finite elements or simply FE. Then strength differential equations are solved in each finite element. So this method is usually called Finite Elements Analysis (FEA).
There is an example of the Finite Elements grid into which a model can be divided.
Final results are shown as epures or distribution diagrams.
