CosmosFloWorks 2008 for Solidworks 2008
CosmosFloWorks is another suitable module for SolidWorks. It’s very simple in using and allows doing a lot of kinds of aerodymamic, hydrodynamic and hydraulic calculations.
In my works I use this module for modeling modes of flying different simple and sophisticated objects. I also learnt the influences force and temperature on the objects and chose proper parameters of their flight.
These are the flow pictures of the spheric and drop-shaped body flight.
And it's very interesting to compare them with gas-dynamic parameters distribution diagrams. Here they are.
Like the module CosmosWorks, this addition uses FEA for solving analysis problems. There is an example of grid which could be otained in "Flo".
So as we see, we can use it for different amount of practical cases of the calculations.
